Notes: Coach Mark Johnson's crew came within one win of returning to the NCAA College World Series for a second time in three years before losing in the NCAA Regional at Coral Gables, Florida, and hopes for another taste of that action in 1996. An experienced pitching staff returns with 30 of the team's 44 wins from last spring while Olympic hopeful OF/P Chad Allen and 1B Jeff Bailey pack a solid wallop at the plate. If early-round draft selection John Codrington can recuperate from earlier arm troubles, the Aggies have the opportunity to feature the SWC's deepest pitching staff. Solid defense up the middle and the possibility for surprises such as the development of relief ace Paul Barber and Tim Clarkson offer encouragement.
