The Gusball era at The University of Texas at Austin has come to an unexpected close. I have to admit...I'm very sad. I'll miss watching Coach Gus make that slow trek to the mound. I'll miss watching him stand, hands in his hip pockets, in the 3rd base coach's box on game day. I'm terribly sad that we won't get to experience a "farewell" season. Well...I guess we did. We just didn't know it at the time and couldn't give it the appreciation it deserved. We'll all miss you, Coach.
