Comments

The new baseball facility at Houston is very nice. And, the weather turned out to be great for baseball. 'Glad I made it over to Houston for the double-header.

Texas scoring summary:

• 1st inning
  • Harkrider led off with a double.
  • Campbell grounded out to 2b and advanced Harkrider.
  • Byers hit a sacrifice fly to lf to score Harkrider.
  • Peoples singled to lf but was stranded as Layne went down swinging.
• 2nd inning - Texas went down in order.
• 3rd inning - Texas stranded Campbell at 2b.
