This is the first time Texas has opened 0-2 at home since 1973. They've never opened 0-3 since Gus started coaching...I hope they don't decide today's the day to fix that!
Lots of hit batters in today's game. Texas almost managed to pull it out at the end of the game but...not quite. The team seems to be struggling most with its pitching so far. It's rather amazing that Texas was able to keep the game as close as they did as CSUN stranded 16 on base (9 in scoring position).
